Me and Near-After all...still human...

-He cant receive anyone.

-How so he can't receive me?!Let me go!

-Near gave him a day off...

-He what?!I really need to go inside!-

-I'm sorry Miss _______ ,you can't!

-But he might be sick!And you know that he has a weak immune sistem!Let me-!

-AAAAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!

-Miss-

-Alright!I'll go...but I'll be back!

-...I'm sorry...but orders are orders...

I turn a corner and spy on that bodyguard...

-He seems drifted in his own toughs...hmph!He'd think that I would always be willing to take out my shoes and cloth to visit Near?!

I start searching for my secret passageway that I used in the days that were men who took vigilance on the front door.To say the truth,it was mine and Nears passageway...I had to ask him for one the first day I came...luckily that day the only think metal that I had were the chains in my jeans and so I could take it out...and you wanna know the best?There were 5 man on the entrance!

-Should be somewhere here...-I tough.-Hmm...

And then I found it...I searched on my photographic memory for the cound...what was it?...Oh yeah!The ABC thingy!

It was correct and so I entered...it was a secret place so it was like a sub passageway,with this I mean...down the ground...but there was an elevator in wich every floor had they code but...they were false floors,actually just the up from the ups floor resulted but it had a code too...a code that just I and Near knew... 

-"Wammy's House"... -yeah...a code with letters...-*sigh* Fast Fast Fast!I should have called Near before going to his floor...but he wouldn't get the call surely...and now how do I pass the guards?! *sigh*  (Think,think...) *Bip!*  Oh!Good,it's here!

And so I opened the door...as I did that,I entered in a stat of shock!There was no one at the hall...was Near alone?

I pass trough the lit up hallway...It was always warm there because of Near's condition... I knocked on the door...nothing.I knocked again... ... ... nothing.I tried to open the door but it was locked.Of course!Lucky of mine,that I had the key in this jacket! This should be really my lucky day! Or...no...that wasn't...

When I entered the room,it was dark and kind of could...pretty lonely.On the ground were Near's toys,and some photo albums.I reached one...It was a very old one so I had to blow some dirt. The title... in big dark letters..."My Wammy's House Memorys"

While the title was very sad,when I opened the album, it was full of very fond memorys...there was L with Near when he was a baby!We was really fond of his sucessors...even tough they were like strangers..And then there was Near playing with his toys...and there was Mello too!Yeah...Mello...and Matt...and even BB...(wait!how does he have an BB photo?!Well nevermind...)

And there was an empty space too...I knew what that empty space once had...their family photo...suddenly I felt a cool shiver,and remembered what I was there for!

It was cold and Near could easily get sick!I had to find him but where?I searched for him on the couch,on the little kitchen,on the secret room (yeah he had an secret room...but no,not what you think...),in his room,under his bed!Indeed...that albino twit (has Mello liked to call him) was good at the hide-and-seek place and at scaring me when we played, "The dark room"...being pretty relegious and believer on mystic things,I pretty much believed one demons...so he tough it was funny to play Hanako-san,B Mary(I won't say it!) and indeed Boogeyman.It was the most scary thing for me because he could appear at any time he wanted whitout the need to be summoned...tough that I don't believe on him (but we never know...).

-Near,where are you?!Near!Please answer!Near!!*sigh*...please...you know your condition,you'll just be harmed if you continue like this...and I don't know where I can turn on the temperature...hey...remember when we played "The Dark Room" and you were always scaring me while saying "Here comes the Boggey!"?Yeah...good times...even tough I really,really,really hate being scared,I couldn't be mad at you to say the truth...you were my only friend at that time and I...*sniif*and...I...*snif* *snif* just...*sigh...

And I remembered!

-Hey!Is it possible...

I searched for his closet.As he was slim and rather smile,he could hide there and scare the shit out of me.I went there and before opening the door I heard something.A rather strange sound...was it...crying?I slowly opened the door,to reveal a lonely and sad white dwarf...(yeah I called him dwarf!)

-Near...-I embraced him...he was so could.I took him out of there with all the strenght I had (I wasn't very strong but luckily Near wasn't that heavy too...I sat on his bed with him on my lap.I wasn't very tall myself but since I was small that I liked to be smash by people...since it didn't hurt and didn't take my breath...So fragile and cold he was...I gave him my jacket.He was still crying.I took him out of my lap so it wasn't so akward and I let him cry all he wanted...he then fell asleep and so I want to the kitchen too make him some hot chocolate so he would warm a little.

Near POV

I waked up.I had a strange dream where all my brothers died...wait...it wasn't a dream.

I felted something soft and warm on my shoulders.I looked at them and found a furry jacket...this smell of strawberries...it couldn't be L.

-Perhaps ________?!-I got up and went to the kitchen.It was cold,but I had to know who was there.

I found her drinking what seemed like hot chocolate.She felt my presence and look directly at me.She was suprised and let the mug on the balcony and closer to me.She embraced me.It was akward...veryakward for me but I forgave her...stupid girl,worrying about me...

 

-Oh,Near,I'm happy you are okay!You were so cold I tough I'd lost you!

-... ...Almost...

-*sigh*...Must be difficult...want a cup of hot chocolate,made it now!

-S-sure...-she was singing...she seemed so happy...It was annoying,pretty annoying!-How can you be like that?!

-Oh?What do-

-How can you?!They were your friends too!You didn't cry!You didn't cry on his funeral! You...*snif* *snif* didn't...ghh...

-... ... I did.

-Ah?!

-I did...cry...I was there...on the day he died...

But I had an angel looking at me...the moment L died,I felt protected...on the funeral,I felt like he was there.I did cry...for a day,on the exact rainy day that Kira killed him...He told me...and now I'm protecting what rests of him...

-Yeah...I heard about it...how is it?

-Just two...is still litle...I hope he can survive...and that's why I can't cry now...I cryed one more day for Mello and Matt...no...3 days...I felt the burn of the others souls on my back...they wanted to go to heaven...Near come here.

-...H-Hi...You know...the day my grandpa died...my mother cried.You know for how many time?

-No...for how?

-Less that one day I think...But the important was that she went on with life because she had me...I was four at that time...

-I'm sorry to hear that!

-haha...don't be...I remembered him.Most of my memories come from that age.The important is...You still have a looong life away.If you are going trough the way of the once best detective,then go.But never forget...I'll be there for you...

-*chuckle*Hey I heard that they were going to be "burned" today at the cemitery.If you wan't you can stay with their ashes...

-...No...I'll just bury some of they stuff with those.

-*chuckle*I hope from now on...you live...and I'm sure they are with you Near.Remember,even in heaven,Mello still wants to beat your ass up!

-*chuckle* Ha!Yeah...still I'm a step in front of him!

-That's the spirit!Wanna go there now?

-Sure...why not?

-Then drink the hot chocolate and give me your hand.We are going on one of Mello's so very loved motos!
